This policy explains what information SegtVision LLC (“SegtVision,” “we,” “us”) collects through segtvision.us and our customer portal, and how we use it. We only collect what we need to respond to messages, schedule, and bill when applicable.
Information we collect
When you submit a contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, address, property type, and any details or photos you choose to include. If you book an appointment, we also store the scheduled date and time. If an estimate or invoice is created for your job, we store the line items, amounts, and payment status associated with it.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, follow up about scheduling, send appointment reminders, prepare estimates and invoices, and process payments. We send transactional emails (request confirmations, status updates, appointment reminders, and — if you use the customer portal — a one-time secure sign-in link). We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing unrelated to your own request.
Customer portal & sign-in links
The customer portal at segtvision.us/portal lets you check the status of your own requests using a one-time link sent to your email — we don't use passwords. That session is stored in a secure, HTTP-only cookie on your device and expires automatically. We also use a small cookie to remember your preferred site language (English/Spanish); it contains no personal information.
Payments
You can pay by cash, check, bank transfer, or card. Card payments are processed securely by Square through a payment link we send you — we never see, collect, or store your card number ourselves.
Service providers we use
We rely on a small number of service providers to run our business: Resend (email delivery), Google Calendar (scheduling), Square (customer/product catalog sync and secure card payment processing), Vercel (hosting), and a managed Postgres database. Each only receives the information needed to perform its function for us and is contractually restricted from using it for other purposes.
Data retention
We keep contact, appointment, estimate, and invoice records for as long as needed for bookkeeping and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by contacting us below, subject to records we're required to keep for tax or legal reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, correct it, or request deletion at any time. You can also opt out of non-essential contact while keeping your active request on file.
